Parking

The pickup site for guests will be at the Moon Valley Resort, E13105 HWY 78 Merrimac, Wisconsin 53561.

We are located 1/2 mile east of the intersection of Hwy 113 and Hwy 78.

 

Our driveway entrance is between Oak Rd and the public boat landing driveway.

Parking: There are two parking lots and two driveways, please park in the 'Upper' lot, at the top of the hill, accessed by the driveway between the boat landing and Oak Rd.

Follow the paved path to the beach loading area and wait on-shore for loading instructions from your captain.

Please do not park in the public boat launch parking lot, the 'lower' lot is for the boat landing and H's Place restaurant only.

F.A.Q.

What time does boarding begin?

 Boarding is 10-15 minutes prior to all cruise departure times. Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time.

 

Are outside alcoholic beverages allowed?
 Due to
Wisconsin State Law, we do not allow any outside alcoholic beverages on our Cruises.

 

What are payment options?
 You can buy tickets online for public cruises. For private charters, simply pay a deposit to reserve your cruise, then follow your invoice tabs to pay the balance anytime before your cruise departure. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

What is included with my ticket price?

 Listed prices per guest for public cruises include cruise, snacks, and sales tax. Beverages are additional and may be purchased during your cruise. Gratuity for on board staff is not included; please tip your service crew.

Are reservations required on public cruises? & Public Cruise Cancellation Policy
 Specialty & Public Cruises do require advance reservations. 
Reservations are not confirmed until payment is submitted and you receive your confirmation number. Payment is NON-REFUNDABLE within 72 hours for Specialty & Public Cruises. All public cruises served with meals (Sunset cruise, Brunch Cruise, etc.) are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

A 4% cancellation fee applies to all credit card refunds. If you are not present at the time of scheduled departure posted, you will be considered a no-show, and your ticket will not be refunded or rescheduled.

 

Private Cruise Cancellation Policy?  

 If you need to change your chartered date, your deposit is transferable to another date with 2 weeks notice. If your booking is cancelled due to weather, your deposit is transferable to another agreed upon date. If there is no mutually agreeable date, your deposit will be refunded only for inclement of weather.

Will my cruise reservation be cancelled?

 RARELY! Our yacht's upper deck is covered and our salons are climate controlled for your comfort. We sail – rain or shine. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon direction of the U.S. Coast Guard or National Weather Service, the yacht may remain dockside until weather conditions improve. Please keep in mind that weather patterns change and severe weather usually passes quickly. Also, if the day starts out bad, it may be completely different by noon or evening.

 

How should I dress?
 Casual dress attire is the general rule, however, weather can change very quickly and it is recommended guests bring a light jacket or sweater, it can be more windy on the lake than on shore.

Are your yachts Handicap Accessible?
 Regrettably, none of the yachts are "Handicap Accessible" as determined by state law. The variable water levels and dual decks on each boat require all of our guests to make a few steps up and down to board the boats. Our crew is very accommodating and will work with you to provide access to our yachts.

Are children allowed on cruises?
 Of course! Adults must accompany children. Though not required, we do recommend that small children bring a comfortable life jacket to wear during the cruise.

 

Is there a possibility I might get seasick?
 Lake Wisconsin has very minimal wave movement for yachts of our size. Some movement may be felt, but usually not enough to be disturbing.

 

Is smoking allowed on board?
 Smoking is not allowed on the yacht.

 

May I bring a wedding or special cake on board?
 You are more than welcome to bring your own cake. We will provide plates and forks for you at no extra charge. We ask if cake is being delivered to notify our office first.

May I bring my own decorations?
 You may bring your own decorations for your privately chartered cruise with the exception of clear tapes, paper mache streamers, glitter, confetti and/or rice. Please contact us at 608.577.7763 to set up a time for decorating.


What are music and entertainment options?
 We have a sound system with speakers on every deck for your enhanced ambiance.
